The historic six-story building has studios, a library, gym, beauty salon, and several recreational areas: presence is not mandatory

Escritório da Hotmart, em Belo Horizonte

Hotmart, a global tech company and leader in the creative economy, announces the official opening of its new office in Belo Horizonte, the company's largest office in the world, with 1,200 workstations. The project was designed to bring the best combination of the hybrid model to employees: a location with various conveniences and leisure areas, and the freedom to work from home, always with flexible hours.

With six floors in a 14,000 m² area, the building has recording studios, with dressing rooms and technical rooms; leisure areas, a rooftop for social gatherings, a restaurant, library, massage room, 3D printing room, manicure space, barbershop, breastfeeding room, and a kids' room.

"Our idea was to create an amazing office that everyone feels like going to, enabling the best possible experience, and fostering innovation and contact between our teams. At the same time, our cultural pillars are autonomy and freedom. That's why everyone can choose the time they come in and leave, and work from home whenever they want. With this, we want to continue attracting and retaining the best talent," said João Pedro Resende, CEO and cofounder of Hotmart.

The occupation of the new office follows the Anvisa (Brazilian Health Regulatory Agency) guidelines for individual and collective healthcare for the prevention of Covid-19, including taking people’s temperature, the distribution of kits with masks and disposables, distancing, and hand sanitizer dispensers installed throughout the premises.

Historic Preservation

Hotmart now occupies the former Palácio do Rádio (Radio Palace), the headquarters of a number of radio and TV stations in Belo Horizonte, from the pioneering TV Itacolomi, Rádio Guarani and, more recently, TV Alterosa, currently located at another address. After an extensive 12-month renovation, the space has been reborn with an updated vocation, creating a bridge between past and future. The old auditorium, for example, has been modernized and is now called Supernova Studio. With a capacity of 280 seats, it will combine events and content broadcasts from the company and influencers, with other initiatives aimed at society, such as artistic and cultural presentations. This space will be inaugurated in the second half of 2022.

"We arrived at the address filled with respect and admiration, especially for the memory of the building we are now occupying. The legacy of entrepreneurship and innovation in communications, which marked the history of the building commissioned by Assis Chateaubriand, is a source of inspiration for us to go beyond, combining technology, communication, and knowledge in a pioneering manner in order to boost the creator economy," said Resende.
