Focused on the user experience, the app brings high-quality sound and image to the courses available on the platform
Hotmart, a global technology company and leader in digital products, announces the launching of a new way for users to consume its content: the Hotmart app for Smart TVs, an app that will allow a new way to watch the digital courses purchased on the platform, focusing on the best learning experience and comfort, in addition to the high image and sound quality of Smart TVs.
"We are focused on continuously improving the experience of consuming a digital product," comments Renato Sacramento, Hotmart's Chief Product Officer. "There are millions of users watching online course classes through our mobile app and PC, and now they get a new experience. This launch reduces friction and simplifies the routine of those who are watching a digital course through a larger screen, with more comfort" explains Sacramento.
The novelty comes at a time when TV is consolidating as a tool for the distribution of digital content and has become one of the main ways to consume and distribute multiplatform content. Data from Parks Associates, shows that 55 percent of US broadband households owns a smart TV, pushing this device to be the default platform for streaming content. According to the research firm, consumers are increasingly interested in having all their content available on a single device, and as smart-TVs have become more affordable, with improved user interfaces.
Available to view online courses purchased and hosted on Hotmart that use the platform's player, the free app is compatible with Samsung Tizen 2017-2021, LG WebOS 2017-2021, and Android TV (Android 7.0 - 9.0) models, allowing consumption of video content in Portuguese, English, and Spanish languages worldwide.
